Hey all,This is a mod for SE Server Extender which implements a 'king of the hill' style game mode on your server.For those who don't know what king of the hill is, it's a game where people compete to be 'king' of a hill (in this case, have ownership of a beacon). The faction who holds the hill for the longest amount of time in a round wins the round.This is the first release, and while I have tried to make it work well, there are still a few known bugs.

Custom beacons are not possible unless using the old format for SBC files (pre 1.44.x). This is a limitation with SE Mod API and should hopefully be fixed very soon. If you do manage to get a custom beacon working, it must be called 'The Hill' (case sensitive). The beacon can be unpowered and damaged beyond functionality, and this is not detected.
I hope to fix this in a patch soon. Occasionally the beacon resets itself without due cause. I've put protections in place to prevent this, but it seems to be a quirk of the SE Mod API. Taking ownership of the beacon as an individual does nothing and scores you no points.I recommend playing this on a creative server, but there's no reason it wouldn't work on survival if you wanted a bit more of a challenge!Enjoy! There are only 4, for changing the hill's x,y, and z coordinates, and the round timer.There is only one command that can be done by chat which is /leaderboardResetting the score can currently only be done by restarting the server, but I can add in a command if you'd like?Disabling the mod can only really be done by restarting the server and taking out the plugin, I could potentially add that in as a feature if you describe roughly what you'd like it to do?The mod does not auto create any factions. You have to make your own.If you're getting low FPS near the beacon, check to see whether multiple beacons have been placed 'on top' of each other, it's a bit of a bug that I've been trying to get rid of. You can work around it by deleting all entities called 'The Hill' using the SE Server Extender GUI, the plugin will automatically detect that the hill has gone and put in a new one.Hope that helps! @amylizzlep - Thanks for the reply,What are the commands for changing the hill's location and round timer?Would like to see a command to be able to reset the score and to turn it on / off so we can have events, when the population of the server is high we can turn it on, and when low turn off.Also been trying to workout how to claim the beacon, we have tried grinding and blowing up but nothing seems to work.Is there a command to remove old beacons so they don't stack and cause the low FPS?

King of the Hill (KotH) is an intense new game mode focused around a single central capture point that must be defended for three minutes. Gameplay begins with the point initially locked—after a short time, it will open for capture by either team.
Once the point is captured by a team, their team clock will start a three minute countdown. If the enemy team manages to capture the point back, their clock will start counting down while the other team’s clock freezes at the time the point was recaptured. Viaduct is an all-new map especially built for KotH, set outside of the entrance to a secret underground base. Viaduct is also the first Team Fortress map to take place during a snowfall (not counting Acegikmo’s awesome cpglacier map, or for that matter all the other community mappers who manage to think up and execute on all the cool stuff before we even think of it). Both teams start at the base of a low hill, and will have to climb to get to the capture point at the hill’s peak. The various elevations of the map and multiple routes to the central point guarantee some frenzied battles as the point changes hands during gameplay.
