This map depicts the known world (landmass) of the Witcher series, originally written by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. Due to how fantasy worlds work, some information might be missing, incomplete or completely disregarded in some versions and adaptations of the saga.Unlike the previous Elder Scrolls-themed maps that I've made, this one was quite a challenge.
The Witcher 2 World Map 1080p Flotsam
I tried searching but all I seem to get is the world map for Witcher 2 and 3. People mention these places all the time but I have no idea where they are. Is there a complete map of the whole world? (And what's it called anyway?). For comparison, the maps for both The Witcher 2 and Skyrim are below. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released in May on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Thanks, wotta. Witcher 2 Map (via Witcher.
My first interaction with the saga was back in 2011 when I tried The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, but the world wasn't appealing to me. In May 2015, I got The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, which gave me a completely different impression of the world of the Witcher and I became so immersed that, even after beating the game and completing most of its numerous side objectives, I decided to give the original book saga a try as well. At the time of posting this, I have just completed reading Baptism of Fire, the third in the main saga and fifth book in total. This was also my first map made partially with the Wacom Intuos tablet, so I might have gone a bit pedal to the metal, although the mountains are quite O.K.
There's a massive blank area in the north-east that doesn't have any info in any of the maps and databases I've researched, so I thought it wouldn't be half bad to get some sort of a heraldry legend there.Feedback, suggestions, opinions and critique are encouraged! Enjoy!FONTS USEDCREDITSSuper special thanks goes to user Mboro from The Witcher wikia. He created the majority of the coats of arms. Thanks to Tear for his.
