Well I was playing with multiple companions and it was awesome, for some reason I found myself taking more hits probably because they move in a straight line equidistant from each other. I had Clover, Charon, Jericho, Sergeant RL-3 and Dogmeat, but when I was going through the first encounter with the Enclave at the Jefferson Memorial I had killed two Enclave soldiers and taken their armor, I gave their armor to Charon and Jericho and somehow they were able to put it on, as soon as I left the room however (I was in the rotunda where your dad dies) the game froze. I tried reloading my last autosave and the game freezes while trying to load it.I had already beaten the game before 2 times so I wasn't unhappy and I knew of the consequences for having mutliple followers, in fact I was hoping to get Fawkes and Butch all the companions I can get without Broken Steel (with it you can get the Star Paladin as a follower). Another thing I was hoping to do was do some evil quests but I couldn't get them. At 4/18/11 11:19 PM, unconsidered wrote:Hm, odd, I didn't know there were multiple dogs in FO3, I only found Dogmeat.
Fallout 3 Companions List
In Fallout 3 there are a total of eight permanent companions who can join you on your journey through the Wastes and you can have up to two companions following you at the same time, Dogmeat plus either Sergeant R-L3 or a human. Most companions have a Karma requirement and will not join you unless you match it. There are 8 different companions in Fallout 3 who can follow you on your journey through the Capital Wasteland. 6 of those followers will require a certain level of Karma in order to join you. Unlike previous games these companions don't require their own Experience Points, they will level up as you do.
